STUDENT LIFE
Athletics
New Life Christian Academy provides an athletic program for our students that stems from our Christian philosophy of education. We are happy to provide the opportunity for competitive sports for our male and females students of all ages.
Organized sports not only physically provides health benefits for players, but also helps to teach teamwork, and to develop social skills. Our sport calendars are developed to preserve mid-week church time for families and with that in mind, there are no Wednesday evening games.
We offer the following organized sports teams:
Fall Sports:
Winter Sports:
• Girls Volleyball
-
Elementary Basketball
-
Middle School Basketball
-
JV & Varsity Boys Basketball
-
JB & Varsity Girls Basketball
-
Elementary Cheerleading or Twirling
All Year Sports:

Electronic Media
Every student has a computer class that includes work on iPads and computers. We are devoted to teaching our students the fundamental skills necessary to succeed in a 21st century classroom. Many classrooms have their own iPad or PC station, and a fully functional, up-to-date computer lab is located on campus for student use. All secondary students receive a subscription to Microsoft Office.
Students in the 9-12 grade are welcome to join our Audiovisual Team. This elective gives them the opportunity to play an integral role in all school performances. From the beginning of the year, they will prepare for events such as: Grandparents’ Day, the annual Christmas Play, the National Day of Prayer, and others. It is a wonderful way for students to become involved in school productions.
Game schedules are located under the "School Calendar" tab.
Principal Lucky and Vice Principal Clark enjoyed taking a quick pic during Homecoming Week. Go Lions!
Music & Performing Arts
All of our students are exposed to public speaking and performing via the many programs we provide throughout the school year. Secondary students are invited to choose the Choir and/or Expressive Worship elective to become involved in performances and to fulfill the required fine arts credit.
Expressive Worship is a form of worship that involves putting action to music. Both the Expressive Worship Team and the Choir perform during chapel, school programs, sporting events, and community activities. They are a blessing to our school.
“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.” (Psalm 98:4)
