ABOUT NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

Welcoming Remarks:

Principal Chessica Lucky

New Life Christian Academy provides a learning environment that is rich in academic and spiritual benefits.  The decision to enroll your child in Christian education is one that should be applauded.  It is not an expense, but rather an investment in the future of your child, family, nation, and world.  At NLCA, we work diligently to offer experiences that your child will cherish for a lifetime.

Personally, my husband and I chose this institution for our sons’ education when they began pre-school.  They both graduated from NLCA and have gone on to college.  We knew from day-one that there was something special about this environment, and we are truly blessed to be a part of a school that is family-oriented, academically rigorous, and blessed with a wholesome atmosphere.

As the principal of New Life Christian Academy, I am extremely honored to work alongside a staff that is dedicated to serving the Lord in this capacity.  I am honored to serve in this position.  New Life Christian Academy changes lives and those lives have the opportunity to change the world.

“ For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”  2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Our History

In 1985, New Life Assembly’s members started New Life Christian Academy to fulfill a vision of having a Christian school in our area. It was first located in the church’s basement and moved to its present location, the former Summersville Clinic, before the second year began. A cafeteria was eventually added, followed by a gym, the secondary building, and a second gym. The generosity and sacrifices from countless members of our community, surrounding churches, faculty members, parents, and alumni have helped continue that vision from New Life Assembly so long ago.
